Armour's Summer Skills Camp has dissolved, due to the expiration of ESSR (COVID-19) relief funds that previously supported the program to help prevent learning loss.
If families would like, please purchase your child their grade level Summer Bridge Boolets. If they complete their booklets and turn them in the very first week of school in the fall, we will still have a pizza party for those students :)
To purchase a booklet, please feel free to check out amazon.com or https://www.google.com/search?q=summer+bridgebooklet&rlz=1C1GCEB_enUS957US1067&oq=summer+bridgebooklet&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIJCAEQIRgKGKABMgkIAhAhGAoYoAEyCQgDECEYChigATIJCAQQIRgKGKABMgcIBRAhGI8CMgcIBhAhGI8C0gEIMzkyNmoxajeoAgCwAgA&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

Give Away Galore!!!
Parents, please do not panic.
YES, the items your kids are coming home with are legit—haha!! Teachers are purging non-surplusable items from their classrooms, so we have a "Free/Take" table at the elementary entrance.
We loved and used those items once upon a time, and now they are yours......hahahaha!!! Enjoy :)

This morning 32 of my Chickadee Bird Club kids went birding at the Fort Randall Dam. It was a beautiful morning and we had such a nice time! First, we birded the trails in two groups. I led one group and the other was led by my friend/birder Chris Anderson from Sioux Falls. Some highlights were: good looks at a Spotted Towhee, Western Kingbird, Bald Eagles, American White Pelicans, Double-crested Cormorants, Cedar Waxwings, Harris's Sparrows and more. We heard lots of different bird songs too. We had a picnic and then the kids played at the playground. Everyone did amazing!!!
