The Armour Student Council and FOR Club have been working to help the Douglas County Food Pantry. The Student Council had a "Coffee and Costume" day on Halloween where students could bring an item for the food pantry and wear a costume for free coffee. They were able to raise money, food items, and created a fun atmosphere for the day! Emerson Brosz also organized her FOR Club group to help organize items at the food pantry today! Thank you to Barb Mills for allowing our students to help out as well as our student council, Emerson Brosz, and Melissa Kris for their help with these events! Great work everyone!

Reminder that we have a motivational speaker named Chaz Perez who will have a parent session at 6:30PM in the gym tonight- October 15th. We understand there are conflicts on Wednesday nights, but it was the only day he had available while in SD. Chaz says, "The session is built around us parents becoming the examples we want to see in our children. And how to strengthen our connections to create more peace and resilience in them and ourselves". Chaz recommends parents attending without their kids in lower elementary school and to come with their children if they are in upper elementary, middle, and high school. This session will be around 1 hour long. You can check out Chaz's website: www.chazperez.com for more information or call Craig Holbeck at the school.
