🩸🩸🩸The Armour Student Council is sponsoring a blood drive this Thursday, April 30th from 11:15AM-4:00PM at the Douglas County 4-H building. We are very close to a $500 or $1000 scholarship that goes to one of our seniors. Please consider donating. Due to the forecasted rain and cold, TDA will NOT go to the Platte Relays on Saturday. (HS) Also, TDA will NOT go to the GPC JH Meet on Monday in Burke for the same reason.

The Armour Elementary is having an End of the Year Celebration on May 12th from 1:00-3:00PM. Familes are welcome to come help celebrate a terrific year. Feel free to bring any outdoor games that you enjoy playing. We will have soccer, volleyball, kickball, and other games. PK families and younger siblings are welcome to come as well. The TDA Athletic Banquet will be held on Monday, May 4th @ 6:30 PM in the Armour Gymnasium. This will be a potluck and we ask that all families bring one main dish and one side/dessert. We look forward to seeing everyone there to celebrate out athletes!

SkillsUSA is putting on a fundraiser brunch this Sunday! Free will donation. We thank you for your support and looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday at the Armour School Lunchroom.

TDA Golf had their first meet on Tuesday April 14th. The Junior Varsity in Gregory and Junior High in Burke. All of our golfers did really well. Matt Messer placed 14th for JV boy and Morgan Fink placed 13th for JV girls.

Chemistry class had some fun for Easter! They died eggs using the rice method, shaving cream method, hot water with food coloring, hot water and crayon method, flour and food coloring method, and food coloring in a balloon method.

Armour School Families:
Every year Armour hosts a music contest for 5th -8th grade vocal students from the surrounding areas, over 250 students and families will be attending this year! The Music Boosters put on the lunch and concession stand with the profits used to fund various needs for our music departments. We are asking for donations from families in grades K-12 of either tavern meat (sloppy joe) or a 9x13 dessert. The contest this year is Friday, April 10.
